**Job Description:**
We are seeking a skilled Prepress Technician / Graphic Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating visually stunning designs and ensuring that print-ready files are prepared accurately for production. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with a passion for design and a strong technical background in prepress operations.
 
**Responsibilities:**
- Willing and able to work 40 + hours a week Monday – Friday
- Collaborate with our internal teams to understand project requirements and objectives
- Conduct preflight checks on client-provided files to ensure they meet printing specifications
- Prepare and adjust files for print production, including color correction, image manipulation, and imposition
- Troubleshoot any technical issues related to file preparation and printing processes
- Design and prepare artwork for various print materials, including brochures, flyers, banners, and much more
- Maintain organized file management systems and adhere to quality control standards
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in printing technology
 
**The Ideal Candidate:**
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 2+ years of experience in graphic design and prepress operations, preferably in a printing environment
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design software on a Mac platform
- Strong understanding of color theory, typography, and layout principles
- Knowledge of print production processes and requirements
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Effective communication and collaboration skills

**Bonus Qualifications:**
- Experience with variable data printing and digital printing technologies
- Knowledge of RIP software and prepress automation tools
- Understanding of PDF standards and preflight software
